From the very first day you will be assigned a mentor who will guide you through your entire training period and provide you with regular feedback. This will also ensure that you will be intensively involved in our daily work. You will be participating in client meetings as well as court hearings and negotiations. After your initial training, we will offer you the opportunity to attend court hearings independently.
Naturally, we will assist you with briefs, assessments and research in the context of transactions. Additionally, you will get insight into the multifaceted activities of our notaries.
We aim to provide you with individual support in your preparation for your exams. Specialized lectures relevant to your exams will also be given at internal Grüter workshops Added to these will be external seminars and examination preparation courses, which we offer you e.g. through our cooperation partner Kaiserseminare. We will be glad to help you plan your (refresher) courses.
What’s more, you can take examinations under examination conditions with us. Our program is rounded off with case presentation training to prepare for the oral exam and the provision of examination cases and protocols for the second state law examination.
As is typical at Grüter, this offer is not carved in stone either. We also offer financial support if you choose a different refresher course or another form of support and will coordinate with you already during the application interview to be able to offer an individual solution. We will be glad to help you plan your (refresher) courses. In addition to client work and preparation for your exam, you will be closely integrated into the Grüter team and participate in office events such as company outings, Christmas parties, the internal sporting events, runs and much more (after all, we want to get to know you!). You will also be eligible for corporate benefits (employees offers at top conditions).
For your clerkship, we offer you the option of doing this at a foreign firm in our international Best Friends Network. For example, you can work at a partner firm in New Zealand for three months or gain insight into the workings of a firm in Brazil or the Netherlands. Prerequisites for this are a previous placement at a law firm, work as a research assistant or practical training at Grüter as well as the recommendation of your mentor at our firm.
We look forward to your application!
