Deniz Kilic is a specialist banking and capital market lawyer. She advises and represents medium-sized companies, mainly banks, savings banks and insurance companies on all issues of banking and capital market law. In particular, she specializes in matters relating to credit contract law, capital investment law, and contract drafting. Deniz Kilic also focuses on real estate law, in particular in the area of landlord and tenant law as well as condominium law. She represents our clients' interests both in and out of court.

Deniz Kilic is a member of the German Bar Association and of the DAV Banking and Capital Markets Law Working Group.
Between 2003 and 2009, Deniz Kilic studied law at the University of Bielefeld and Ruhr-University of Bochum, specializing in commercial law. She completed her legal clerkship at Regional Court of Dortmund, passing her second state law exam in 2011. She was admitted to the bar in 2012. Between 2014 to 2016, Deniz Kilic completed a part-time Master's degree in commercial law at the University of Münster and obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.). Since 2020, she has been a specialist banking and capital market lawyer. In 2023, she has commenced part-time doctorate studies on a topic of banking law. During the period from 2013 to 2023, she worked as a lawyer in the banking law group of law firm Streitbörger PartGmbB. In 2024, she started working for law firm Grüter.
